This 2-piece valve lapping set is an essential tool for manually lapping valves in the cylinder head. The set consists of two ergonomically shaped handles with double-sided rubber suction cups in different sizes, allowing you to precisely work on both small and larger valves.

How does this valve grinding tool set work?

Slightly wet the suction cup you are going to use and stick it in the middle of the valve head. Make sure the correct polishing compound is under the valve (coarse or fine) and make constant rotating movements. You do this by placing the tool between your two palms and rubbing back and forth.

After some grinding, turn the valve a quarter, so you don't get any irregularities. Repeat this process until a perfect seal. There are also numerous explanatory videos on YouTube.

This tool set is ideal for overhauling cylinder heads on scooters, motorcycles, mopeds, cars and more. It is usually necessary when the valves are too carbonized or leaking. You notice this by compression loss, which often results in a poor-starting scooter.
