Malossi oil dipstick for the transmission oil (gearing) of Vespa and Piaggio scooters

Bright red dipstick from the Malossi brand for the back of the crankcase of Piaggio engine blocks. There is always a black dipstick here to check and top up the gear oil. This is in the same place on all Piaggio and Vespa scooters. Both 2-stroke and 4-stroke. On the back of the engine block, left next to the rear wheel.

This dipstick is often worn, broken or the thread is broken. Replace it in time, because if you get dirt in the oil you have a big chance of engine damage. If it breaks you have an even bigger problem. If you replace it, do it for the sports version of Malossi!

You turn the old dipstick to the left to unscrew it. Place the new o-ring rubber on the Malossi dipstick and put it as far up as possible. Then turn it back into the thread and tighten it well. Note: tight = tight! It really does not just vibrate loose.
