What size variator ring should I use on my scooter?

It's difficult to say exactly which variator ring you need. This depends on your current speed and your desired speed. For example: Is your Vespa or Piaggio Zip currently going 40 km/h and do you want it to go 34 km/h? Then you usually need a 3mm variator ring. We recommend ordering several sizes to ensure your scooter doesn't go too fast. Don't want to run into problems on the rollers? We recommend ensuring your scooter reaches a maximum speed of 32 km/h based on GPS.
