Original 19x15.5mm variator from Piaggio/Vespa with OEM code CM110301

Complete variator kit including variator bushing, variator rollers, and variator sliders. Original from Piaggio and suitable for all 50cc 2-stroke and 4-stroke scooters. Comes standard with 6.4 gram variator rollers.

This variator fits all 50cc Piaggio/Vespa scooters, both 2-stroke and 4-stroke. It fits older 2V & 4V carburettor models and newer 3V injection models without kickstart.

This CM110301 variator kit is suitable for the following scooters, among others:

• Piaggio Zip
• Piaggio Liberty
• Vespa LX
• Vespa S
• Vespa Sprint
• Vespa Primavera
  

Suitable for Euro 2, Euro 4 and Euro 5 models. Therefore, suitable for 4T 2V carburettor models with kickstart. And also suitable for newer injection models without kickstart.

Mounting other rollers

This variator comes with 6.4 gram rollers. These rollers may sometimes be too light or too heavy. Light rollers provide good pulling power but low top speed. The heavier the rollers, the higher the top speed of the scooter will be, but at the expense of pulling power. See below for our recommended rollers. You can order these along with your purchase.

Guideline for the correct rollers:

• Piaggio 4T 2V with kickstart moped (max 40 km/h): 10 gram variator rollers
• Piaggio 4T 3V without kickstart moped (max 40 km/h): 8 to 8.5 gram variator rollers
• Piaggio 4T 2V with kickstart scooter (minimum 45 km/h): 6.5 gram variator rollers
• Piaggio 4T 3V without kickstart scooter (minimum 45 km/h): 7.5 gram variator rollers
• Piaggio 4T 4V with kickstart scooter (minimum 45 km/h): 5.5 gram variator rollers
