Shock absorber silent block 666991 for Piaggio Zip, Liberty and Vespa Sprint/Primavera 4T 3V

This rubber with Piaggio OEM code 666991 is located at the bottom of the rear shock absorber and ensures that the shock absorber has no play. The silent block has to endure a lot and is often completely worn and slippery after a few years. Replace it in time, because as soon as the shock absorber eats into the metal of the crankcase, you have a problem. That cannot be repaired.

Cheap and easy to repair yourself! You remove the bottom bolt from the rear shock absorber. Remove the old silent block (or what is left of it) and place the new silent block back. You can remove the old remains with a dremel if necessary.

Tip! For easy and quick assembly, you can order this Motip Freezer (cold shrink). This makes disassembly and assembly much smoother. Because you let the silent block shrink due to the cold, it fits in much easier.
