Does your brake light not turn on at the left or right brake lever? Then the brake light switch is often defective. Fortunately, replacing this switch is simple and cheap.

You can easily check if your brake light still works by squeezing the brake and checking if the rear brake then comes on. You can also recognize a defective brake light by the fact that your scooter will not start if your brake light does not come on. So for example, does the brake light not work at the left brake lever? Then your scooter will not start electrically if you only hold the left brake.
