The most common problem with Chinese retro scooters is that the inspection glass of the brake reservoir on the right brake lever is broken. After a few years, the glass is completely soft, finished or gone. The brake fluid therefore runs out of the brake reservoir and you lose a lot of brake pressure. This is a major manufacturing defect and they all have it.

Not only dangerous, but it also damages your fairings. Brake fluid bites very much because it is aggressive stuff. So you also have a chance of damaging the paint of your fairings.
