Pasta voor het inslijpen van de kleppen (fijn + grof)

Kleppen inslijpen met polijstpasta (slijppasta) verwijdert koolstofafzetting, bramen en corrosie om een perfecte, luchtdichte afdichting tussen de klep en de zitting te garanderen. Breng een dun laagje pasta aan op de kleprand, plaats de klep in de geleider en gebruik een slijpgereedschap om deze heen en weer te draaien totdat een egale, matte grijze strook zichtbaar is.

Kleppen inslijpen bij lekkende kleppen (weinig compressie)

Het inslijpen van je kleppen doe je wanneer je nieuwe kleppen monteert, of als je kleppen lekken en je deze weer goed wil laten afsluiten.

Je herkent lekkende kleppen aan weinig compressie. Als je de kickstarter heel makkelijk in kan duwen, zonder weerstand. Of als je scooter erg slecht start of slecht stationair draait.
