Dipstick to check engine oil on all Vespa and Piaggio 4-stroke scooters

Is your dipstick worn, broken or in need of replacement? Replace it in time before you get an oil leak or a piece of plastic chalk in your engine oil.

This dipstick is located on the left side of your crankcase cover. You can use it to check the engine oil, but you can also fill the scooter's engine oil here.

In a Vespa and Piaggio 4-stroke scooter, 5W40 engine oil is required, preferably from the Castrol brand. The engine oil level is good when it is between the two lines at the bottom of the dipstick. It is best if it is just below the upper line. This prevents you from driving with too little engine oil.
