Measuring cup 3019790 from Malossi for mixing 2-stroke mixed lubricant in the correct ratio

With many 2-stroke scooters you have to mix the petrol and oil yourself and pour it into the tank. If that is the case, then you have to do it in the right proportion. Too little oil can cause a hot runner and too much oil is of course also not good. Adding the right amount of oil to the petrol is sometimes quite difficult to estimate by eye. That is why we advise to always use a mixing cup!

Use this Malossi measuring cup to measure the mixture of lubricants

Handy measuring cup from Malossi 3019790 with a capacity of max 250ml. Put it in your buddy as standard together with a bottle of 2-stroke engine oil. You only put the 2-stroke engine oil in here. You use it as follows:

1. Determine the ratio of oil/petrol you want to mix. This is usually 1/50. This means 1 litre of oil to 50 litres of petrol. This is equivalent to 2% oil. Then use the measuring cup as follows:
2. If you fill up with petrol first, you look at how many litres you have filled up exactly at the petrol station. Suppose this is 6 litres. Then you go to the line of 6 litres above the 2% at the mixing cup. You fill your 2-stroke engine oil here until you reach exactly 6. then you have exactly 2% of 6 litres.
3. The other way around is also possible. If you first put the oil in your tank, so that it mixes better with the petrol, then you first determine how much petrol you expect to fill up. If you want to fill up 4 litres, then you fill the oil in the mixing cup up to 4 at 2%. This is the amount of oil that you have to put in the tank and then you have to fill up 4 litres of petrol.

Please note! If you first put oil in the tank, make sure you have enough tank capacity to fill up with petrol. If you assume 8 litres of petrol, but the tank is already full after 6 litres, then you have put too much oil in your tank.
