The Multivar is suitable for 25km and 45km models. The variator can also be used with 80cc models.

Suitable for Euro 2, Euro 4, and Euro 5 models. Suitable for 4-stroke 2V carburetor models with kickstart. Also suitable for newer injection models without kickstart.

The Malossi Multivar variator extracts the maximum available power from your Vespa or Piaggio Zip! Your scooter will accelerate faster, and the top speed will increase by an average of 5 km/h. Malossi designs, manufactures, and tests the Multivar in Italy. This guarantees the highest quality.

Mounting other roles

The Malossi Multivar comes with 6.1-gram rolls from Malossi. These rolls are usually too light.
Light rollers provide good traction, but a low top speed. The heavier the rollers, the higher the scooter's top speed will be, but at the expense of traction.

Guideline for the correct rollers for a Malossi Multivar:

• Vespa Sprint/Primavera 4t 2v with moped or unrestricted CDI: 6.5 grams of rolling weight
• Vespa Sprint/Primavera 4t 4v: 6.1 gram rolls
• Vespa Sprint/Primavera i-get with ECU or limiter: 7.2 grams rolling
• Vespa Sprint/Primavera i-get with Malossi ECU: 7.5 grams of rolling
• Vespa LX/S 4t 2v (carburetor) with hummer or unrestricted CDI: 6.5 grams of rolling
• Piaggio Zip 4t 2v (carburetor) with hum or unrestricted CDI: 6.5 grams of rolling
• Piaggio Zip i-get with hum ECU or limiter: 7.2 grams of rolling
  
• Piaggio Zip i-get with Malossi ecu: 7.5 gram rolls
