Why choose copper grease?

The major advantage of copper grease over other assembly pastes and lubricants is that copper grease is heat-resistant. It is therefore widely used in scooters, motorcycles, and cars, as many components get hot. Other types of lubricants melt at high temperatures and are therefore useless. Think, for example, of the screws, bushings, and bolts near the exhaust, but also the brake pads on the wheels. For scooters, you can also use it well for greasing all crankcase bolts. These bolts often seize up, causing a lot of trouble. You can easily prevent this by applying a little copper grease.

What do you use copper grease for?

• To grease the back of brake pads. This prevents them from squealing and keeps them moving smoothly. Brake pads are very prone to rust.
• To grease the threads of bolts, so they don't seize up with rust and can be easily removed next time. Even years later!
• To grease bushings, bolts, studs, and nuts. Also in hot spots, such as near the exhaust, wheels, and engine block.
• To prevent seizing due to a reaction of stainless steel in aluminum.
• For protection against moisture, corrosion, and vibrations.

About Kroon Oil copper grease

Copper + Plus is a lead-free anti-corrosion paste. The product consists of finely dispersed copper particles in a non-melting bentonite base, to which highly effective anti-oxidation and corrosion inhibitors have been added. Copper + Plus forms a film between the metal parts that is resistant to very high temperatures (up to 1100 degrees). In addition to these properties, Copper + Plus offers good protection against corrosion, moisture, and vibrations. The product is insensitive to acids, water, brine, and lye. Application Copper + Plus is a heat-resistant, lead-free assembly paste. It protects metal connections, which are exposed to, for example, high temperatures, water, or chemicals, against rusting or seizing. By using Copper + Plus when assembling metal parts, the parts can be easily disassembled again, even after years. Copper + Plus applied between brake caliper and brake pad guides prevents annoying squeaking. NOTE! Do not apply to the brake disc or the brake lining of the brake pads!
