With this original coil/CDI, you ride unrestricted, meaning as fast as the scooter can go. It can be used to tune a Vespa/Piaggio 4-stroke 2V scooter (older models with carburetor, so no i-GET) or if your own CDI has broken.

Our advice is to install 6.5 gram variator rollers and an 80 size main jet. With a variator ring, you can restrict the scooter again.

4T 2V is the abbreviation for a 4-stroke engine with 2 valves. Almost all (older) Vespa & Piaggio scooters with a carburetor have this engine. Do you have a kickstart? Then you have a carburetor, and this Ducati CDI is suitable. Don't you have a kickstart? Then you have an i-GET scooter, and you don't have a CDI but an ECU.
