25KM CDI unit for almost all China/GY6 scooters. For peace of mind, check if you have the same CDI connection in your scooter. This CDI has a connection for 2 plugs, a large 4-pin plug and a narrow 2-pin plug. Suitable for almost all retro and China LX models, including AGM VX50, BTC Riva, La Souris etc.

This is the same brand as what is often installed from the factory. The speed is approximately 25 to 35 km/h, but this depends on the condition and adjustment of the scooter. Your scooter may run slightly faster or slower. You can precisely limit the scooter's speed with these variator rings. So order them if needed.

How to install a CDI on your scooter?

On most GY6 scooters, the CDI is slid onto the scooter's frame with a rubber mount. Remove the CDI from the rubber so you can access it easily. Then pull both plugs out of the CDI. Note, you need to push the clamps on the sides aside to remove the plugs.

Firmly push the plugs into the new CDI and place it in the rubber on the frame. After that, it is important to check the electrical wire that runs to the crankcase cover/rear wheel. If it is disconnected, the scooter will run unrestricted. If it is connected, the scooter will be limited based on the CDI. If you install a 25km CDI, the scooter will run at 25 km/h. With the wire disconnected, the scooter will not respond to the CDI.
