With this CDI you limit the scooter to a permitted speed for a blue license plate. Approximately 25 to 35 km/h. You can also make the scooter run faster by a good adjustment. So speeds such as 40 to 45 km/h are also possible. That is why we advise to order variator rings, to dispose of the scooter if necessary.

Our advice is to mount CDI vario rollers of 10.0 grams on a moped. You can order the vario rollers cheaply from us. With a varioring you can drain the scooter even further. With this CDI the scooter does not run exactly 25 km/h, but that can also be around 30 to 40 km/h.

What is 4T 2V?

4T 2V is the abbreviation for a 4 stroke engine block with 2 valves. Almost all (older) Vespa & Piaggio scooters with a carburetor have this engine block.
This CDI does not fit i-GET scooters. These are the newer euro4 and euro5 models, generally from 2018. These scooters have an injection engine block and no carburetor. This can be seen from the exhaust of the scooter. The i-GET Vespas and Zips have an extra pipe with a Lambda sensor in the bend of the exhaust. In addition, these scooters do not have a kickstart. Do you have a kickstart? Then you have a carburetor scooter and this CDI is suitable.
