The engine block of your scooter is attached to the subframe by means of a long sleeve. This sleeve is held in place by 2 silent blocks (block rubbers). These rubbers provide stability and prevent play and vibrations. The block rubbers have to endure a lot over the years and are worn out at some point. If your block rubbers are worn out, you will get play and there is a chance that your engine block is no longer straight under your scooter. This can damage parts and it also drives very badly. You naturally want a comfortable and safe driving feeling, and you don't have that if your rear wheel is not directly under the scooter. Do you have play on your subframe?
