How do you install a new battery?

Vespa Sprint / Primavera:

1. Remove the battery cover from the step (4 torx screws).
2. Unscrew and remove the old battery. Be careful not to let the positive and negative terminals touch each other.
3. Insert the new battery and connect the positive and negative wires ( red to +, black to - ).
4. Test whether the scooter starts.
5. Reinstall the battery cover.

Piaggio Zip:

1. Open the buddy seat .
2. Remove the battery cover (behind the buddy box, secured with 2 screws).
3. Unscrew and remove the old battery. Be careful not to let the positive and negative terminals touch each other.
4. Insert the new battery and connect the positive and negative wires ( red to +, black to - ).
5. Test whether the scooter starts.
6. Replace the battery cover and close the buddy seat.
