Installing H4 LED headlight
How do you mount this H4 LED headlight in a Vespa Sprint or Primavera? Mounting this LED headlight is very easy. You only need to remove the upper handlebar cover and replace the headlight. First remove the original headlight from the headlight unit. You do this by turning the black clamp a quarter turn to the left. Now remove the original bulb from the headlight unit. Place the new LED bulb in the headlight unit. The bulb may be slightly too wide to fit through the hole. In that case, you can widen the passage slightly with a file, for example. This is easy to do yourself. Click the bulb back into place with the black clamp on the back and place the plug on the new bulb. Remount the handlebar cover and adjust the headlight to the road (preferably in the dark). You do this with the adjusting screw at the front of the scooter.
The lamp is plug & play, so you don't have to adjust anything to your wiring harness or electrical system.
This LED headlight is suitable for the following scooters:
- Vespa Sprint carburetor (up to 2017, so no iGET)
- Vespa Primavera carburetor (up to 2017, so no iGET)
- Other scooters with an H4 headlight connection
