Over time, the exhaust and studs will rust and deteriorate. Since it is located at the bottom of the scooter and gets a lot of water, salt and mud on it, it rusts even faster. When you want to disassemble the exhaust, it is important that the stud nuts can be easily unscrewed and that you can easily get the exhaust off the studs.
