The nuts on the exhaust studs take a lot of wear and tear, getting hot, cold, and dirty. Because they're located on the underside of the scooter, they rust very quickly and can become stuck or loose after a while. We recommend replacing the stud nuts with a new set every so often to prevent them from breaking and becoming impossible to loosen. If your studs break, you're in even worse shape.
