Note! Vespa also has a 4T 4V model. These are all kickstart Vespas, which are factory-fitted as 45 km/h (28 mph) versions. The cylinder head is labeled "Quattro." This CDI won't fit on those. Has your scooter been converted from a blue to a yellow registration? Then it will, of course, fit.
What is 4T 2V?
4T 2V is the abbreviation for a 4-stroke engine with 2 valves. All (older) Vespa & Piaggio 25km scooters with a carburetor have this engine.
This wireless euro limiter does not fit On i-GET scooters (without kickstart). These are the newer Euro 4 and Euro 5 models, generally from 2018 onwards.

Why order this wireless Euro limiter?
This limiter is the latest and best model on the market. There are countless brands and variations available, but we recommend purchasing this latest model.
The limiters have been specially developed and tested by Begrenzer.nl, the specialist in the field of limiters in the Netherlands.
If you buy a cheap (Chinese) limiter, you run a high risk of defects. Moreover, the price differences are minimal, so it's better to pay a little more for the best limiter on the market. This is also the only limiter that doesn't have wiring or an adjustment screw. Exclusively available at De Scooter Shop, for the best price in the Netherlands!
Tip: Sand the Begrenzer.nl logo off the CDI. It's easy to do, and it will make the limiter completely unrecognizable!
How does this wireless limiter for Vespa/Piaggio 4T 2V work?
The scooter is always limited when the scooter is started.
Want to make the scooter go faster? Simply press both buttons on the remote control simultaneously while the scooter is on. As soon as you turn the scooter off, it's automatically set to the limit again. This way, you'll never have to reach for the remote control when you encounter the police or need to go on a roller test.
The limiter can also be activated while riding by turning the ignition off and on again. This allows you to continue riding, while the scooter is limited while driving.
Adjusting the wireless Euro limiter
The remote controls have two buttons: a + and a - button. These allow you to adjust the speed limiter to the desired speed. Pressing and holding the - button will gradually slow the scooter down. Continue holding the button until the desired speed is reached. Once you release the button, the limited speed is set. To speed up again, press and hold the + button.
Our advice is to drive a maximum of 32 km/h (20 mph) using GPS. At this speed, you'll never* be going too fast on the roller. Some people use 34 km/h (21 mph), but that's really pushing the limits. It's not recommended.
If you press both buttons at the same time, the CDI will be unlocked and the scooter will go as fast as possible without the speed being limited by the CDI unit.
The limiter must be near the limiter to be set. If it doesn't work, you'll need to move closer or press the buttons again.
This wireless The limiter for Vespa & Piaggio Zip is plug & play. No programming required, and it works immediately!
