Why replace your scooter battery?

How do you install a new battery?
Vespa Sprint / Primavera:
- Remove the battery cover from the step (4 torx screws).
- Unscrew and remove the old battery. Be careful not to let the positive and negative terminals touch each other.
- Insert the new battery and connect the positive and negative wires ( red to +, black to - ).
- Test whether the scooter starts.
- Reinstall the battery cover.
Piaggio Zip:
- Open the buddy seat .
- Remove the battery cover (behind the buddy box, secured with 2 screws).
- Unscrew and remove the old battery. Be careful not to let the positive and negative terminals touch each other.
- Insert the new battery and connect the positive and negative wires ( red to +, black to - ).
- Test whether the scooter starts.
- Replace the battery cover and close the buddy seat.
