Want a custom dashboard in your Zip? And do you find a digital counter too expensive or too difficult to mount? Then this is for you!
The dashboard of a Piaggio Zip contains various dashboard lights. These lights are to illuminate the speedometer in the dark and to indicate the indicator lights such as the turn signal, the fuel gauge and high beam. The lights are fixed in the printed circuit board of the dashboard and can easily be replaced with our LED dashboard lighting. These lights have a different color and are often a lot brighter than the original.

How do you install dashboard lighting in a Piaggio Zip?
Remove the inner steering cowl from your Zip. Now you can already reach the dashboard lighting. To get to it better, you can also remove the entire headlight unit. But this is not strictly necessary. In our installation video we do that. You can remove the bulbs you want to replace by turning the fitting a quarter turn to the left. Remove the fitting with the bulb and place the new LED bulb with fitting back in the dashboard and turn it a quarter turn to the right to secure it.
Important: LED lighting has a plus and minus side. It is possible that the new meter lighting does not turn on. Then the bulb or the fitting is the wrong way around. Remove it again and turn it half a turn so that the plus and minus sides are reversed. This is not the case with the original dashboard lighting. These are halogen bulbs.
