With this original 25km, 45km, and unlimited coil/CDI, you can charge/decharge your Vespa or Piaggio scooter. A variator coil is often only suitable for a few kilometers slower. But if you really want to go much slower or faster, you'll definitely need a different CDI. These CDIs are original Piaggio and offer the best price-performance ratio on the market. They're considerably cheaper than Ducati CDIs.

    Speed with this 25 km/h CDI and 10-gram roll is an average of 30 to 40 km/h. Optionally, install a variator ring for lower speeds. Spark plug wire and spark plug cap are included as standard.

    Speed with this 45 km/h CDI and 6.5 gram rollers is an average of 50 to 55 km/h. (Malossi Multivar and size 80 jets are recommended). Only the CDI, spark plug wire, and spark plug cap can be ordered separately.

    Speed with this fast/unrestricted CDI and 6.5-gram roller is an average of 60 to 70 km/h. (Malossi Multivar and size 80 jets are recommended). Only the CDI, spark plug wire, and spark plug cap can be ordered separately.

Want to accelerate as fast as possible and achieve a high top speed? Then order:

What is 4T 2V?

4T 2V is the abbreviation for a 4-stroke engine with 2 valves. Almost all (older) Vespa & Piaggio scooters with a carburetor have this engine. Do you have a kickstart? Then you have a carburetor and are CDI-compatible. Don't have a kickstart? Then you have an i-GET scooter and don't have a CDI but an ECU. These can also be ordered on our website.

Kokusan is the number one choice for CDIs for Piaggio/Vespa. These are the highest-quality CDIs with the fewest problems and malfunctions. It's better to spend a little more on a top-quality CDI than to buy a B-brand that breaks down after a few months or years. In our opinion, this, along with the Ducati CDIs, is the best choice. Unfortunately, the Ducati CDIs are considerably more expensive.
