What is 4T 2V?
4T 2V is the abbreviation for a 4 stroke engine block with 2 valves. All (older) Vespa & Piaggio 25km scooters with a carburetor have this engine block.
This wireless euro limiter only fits not on i-GET scooters. These are the newer euro4 and euro5 models, generally from 2018. These scooters have an injection engine block and no carburetor. This can be seen from the exhaust of the scooter. The i-GET Vespas and Zips have an extra pipe with a Lambda sensor in the bend of the exhaust.

How does this wireless limiter for Vespa/Piaggio 4T 2V work?
The scooter is always limited when the scooter is started.
Want to make the scooter go faster? Then press both buttons on the remote control at the same time while the scooter is on. As soon as the scooter is turned off again, the scooter is limited again. So you never have to grab the remote control when you encounter the police or have to go on the roller bench.
The limiter can also be switched on while driving by turning the ignition off and on. This allows you to continue driving and the scooter is limited while driving.
Adjusting the wireless Euro limiter
There are 2 buttons on the remote controls. A + and a - button. This allows you to set the limiter to the desired speed. By holding down the - button, the scooter will drive less and less fast. Hold down the button until the speed is as desired. As soon as you release the button, the limited speed is set. To make the scooter drive faster again, you can hold down the + button.
Our advice is to drive a maximum of 32 km/h on GPS. With this speed you will never* drive too fast on the roller bench. Some people use 34 km/h, but with this you are really at the limit. That is not recommended.
If you press both buttons at the same time, the CDI will be unlocked and the scooter will go as fast as possible, without the speed being limited by the CDI unit.
The limiter must be near the limiter to be set. If it doesn't work, you must move closer or press the buttons again.
