The manifold is a crucial part of your scooter. It ensures that the fuel (both petrol and air mixture) goes from the carburetor to the engine block. When your manifold is old, it will crack and can suck in false air or start leaking.

Don't forget to order an intake gasket

If the manifold is old and broken, the gasket is most likely broken too. It is therefore important to replace the intake gasket as well.
