The assembly paste you need when working on scooters. Copper grease can generally be used for all screws/bolts that will ever need to be removed and for anything that gets hot. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration by lubricating your bolts with copper grease. Otherwise, there is a big chance that they will get stuck or rust. A small investment that you will quickly earn back! A jar of copper grease will also easily last for years and can be used for many purposes.

The big advantage of copper grease compared to other assembly pastes and lubricants is that copper grease is heat-resistant. It is therefore often used in scooters, motorcycles and cars, as many parts become hot. Other types of lubricants melt at high temperatures and are therefore useless. Think for example of the screws, bushings and bolts at the exhaust, but also the brake pads at the wheels. With scooters you can also use it well to lubricate all crankcase bolts. These bolts often get stuck and that causes a lot of trouble. You can easily prevent that by smearing a little copper grease on them.

What do you use copper grease for?

• To lubricate the back of brake pads. This prevents them from squeaking and keeps them moving smoothly. Brake pads are very sensitive to rust.
• To lubricate the threads of bolts so they don't rust and come loose easily the next time. Even a few years later!
• To lubricate bushings, bolts, studs and nuts. Also on hot spots, such as the exhaust, wheels and the engine block.
• Against corrosion caused by a reaction of stainless steel in aluminium.
• For protection against moisture, corrosion and vibrations.

About Kroon Oil's copper grease

Copper + Plus is a lead-free anti-corrosion paste. The product consists of finely divided copper particles in a non-meltable bentonite base, to which highly effective anti-oxidation and corrosion inhibitors have been added. Copper + Plus forms a film between the metal parts that is resistant to very high temperatures (up to 1100 degrees). In addition to these properties, Copper + Plus offers good protection against corrosion, moisture and vibrations. The product is insensitive to acids, water, brine and lye. Application Copper + Plus is a heat-resistant, lead-free assembly paste. It protects metal connections that are exposed to, for example, high temperatures, water or chemicals, against rusting or galling. By using Copper + Plus when assembling metal parts, the parts can be easily dismantled again, even after years. Copper + Plus applied between brake piston and brake pad guides prevents annoying squeaking. CAUTION! Do not apply to the brake disc or the brake segment of the brake pads!
