This ring is often forgotten to reassemble on a Vespa and Piaggio scooter, but is very important. The ring goes between the rear rim and the nut.
- You use the rear wheel rivet ring for the following reasons:
- To mount the rim straight onto the rear wheel axle
- To distribute the force evenly on the rear rim
- To prevent the rim from being damaged by the rear wheel nut
- So that the rear wheel nut can be easily loosened again
This rear wheel ring can be ordered in 2 versions; original and imitation. Original is sold by Vespa/Piaggio itself and imitation is A-quality from another brand. A cheaper alternative.
