How do you install a new battery in a Vespa Sprint/Primavera?

• Remove the battery cover from the running board (foot board) using 4 torx screws.
• Unscrew the 2 screws from the old battery and remove the battery from the scooter. Make sure the positive and negative wires do not touch each other.
• Place the new battery back in the same place and connect the positive and negative wires (black to the negative - and red to the positive +).
• Test whether the scooter turns on.
• Reinstall the battery cover.

How do you install a new battery in a Piaggio Zip?

• Open the buddy seat.
• Remove the battery cover (behind the buddy box using 2 screws).
• Unscrew the 2 screws from the old battery and remove the battery from the scooter. Make sure the positive and negative wires do not touch each other.
• Place the new battery back in the same place and connect the positive and negative wires (black to the negative - and red to the positive +).
• Test whether the scooter turns on.
• Replace the battery cover and close the buddy seat.
