The Vespa Sprint comes standard with a 120/70-12 rear tire. But many people prefer to mount a wider and sturdier tire on the rear wheel. This one fits too!

How do you check the tire size of your scooter? Look at the side of the tire. The tire size is always indicated on this. This way you can check whether this tire fits your scooter.

How can you tell if your tires are worn?

• The tire is older than 5 years.
• The tire is old/dried out, causing cracks in the rubber.
• The tire has little to no tread left.
• The tire is no longer round but has, for example, bumps or damage.
• The tire is worn unevenly and not on the tread where it should be.
• A plug was once shot in to temporarily seal a leak.
• The scooter no longer rides well/comfortably.

In addition to your own safety, you also have the chance of a fine. At the time of writing, the fine for driving with worn tires is €160!
